Former Knoxville Volleyball Standout Ella Breazeale has found a new home. Last season she was at Belmont Abbey in North Carolina and entered the transfer portal and ended up at Missouri Southern State University located in Joplin, Missouri. Breazeale tells KNIA/KRLS Sports the transfer portal experience was an interesting one and now says he has found a home with the Lions Volleyball Program.
Breazeale: “I wasn’t necessarily looking to be closer to home, I just wanted to be a part of the better culture and it just worked out that it’s 11 hours closer. I got there this summer, did some reps with the girls and the season started. So it was a whirlwind for about five months”
This season Breazeale had 62 kills, 28 digs, and six solo blocks for the 10-18 Lions. She had a high match of seven kills against Southwest Baptist on September 13th. Listen for a full interview with Breazeale on a coming edition of Today’s Lely Radio Sports Page in a Where Are They Now segment on KNIA/KRLS.
