The winter sports season is ramping up, with the Pella Dutch heading to their first basketball doubleheader of the winter on the road, and the girls wrestlers hosting three other schools this evening.

The Dutch boys and girls are traveling to North Polk, which features a ranked matchup between the #10 Comets girls and #14 Pella team. It’s also the debut of the Dutch boys basketball team, coming off of their substate finale appearance in 2024-25 and with several members of the football runners-up returning to basketball. North Polk’s boys were at Atlantic on Monday, winning 77-51. Live coverage of the doubleheader begins at 5:45 this evening on 92.1 KRLS.

Pella’s girls wrestling team is hosting Perry, Pleasantville, and Carlisle at 5 p.m. this evening.
