The Pella City Council will consider multiple ordinances on their second or third readings at today’s meeting. The final readings of rate changes eliminating reduced vacation and inactive fees for both Pella Fiber and the city’s trash rate are on the agenda, as is the third time through for tax increment financing at Fountain Hills 4. The second reading of ordinances are also under consideration for changes to electric scooters and bikes and to ban camping and storing personal items in public spaces. Resolutions to accept public improvements for the Hazel Street sidewalk extension to Timberview and to open bids for Pella Community Center alley improvements are also on the docket. The Pella City Council meeting begins at 6 p.m. at the Pella Public Safety Complex.
