The Christmas season is underway in Pella and the Festival of Trees is ongoing at the Pella Opera House through December 6th.

During the Festival of Trees, the Opera House will be open from 10am-4pm today, Wednesday, and Saturday and will have extended hours from 10am-8pm during the Tour of Homes and Kerstmarkt on Thursday and Friday. The Festival of Trees has Christmas trees, lights, wreaths and decorations on display, in addition to a scavenger hunt for children. Cyndi Atkins encourages the community to come view all that the Festival of Trees has to see before it’s too late.

“We hope people will come in all week long to see these beautiful trees, center pieces, and wreaths, but Saturday at 4pm it’s over. It’s so hard to believe we’re already at this point, where the end of the Festival of Trees is in sight but there are so many beautiful things [to see].”
