The Pleasantville girls and boys basketball teams and girls wrestling team will be in action tonight.

The Trojan girls basketball team is 1-0 on the season and are coming off a lopsided 68-30 win over EBF last week. The Ankeny Christian girls will be playing in their first contest of the season. The Trojan boys will play their first contest of the season and are coming off an 11-11 season last year. Pleasantville will bring back all-state player in junior Braylon Bingham who surpassed 1,000 career points as a sophomore. The Ankeny Christian boys will also be playing their first game of the season. Tonight’s girls game at Ankeny Christian Academy will start at 6:15 pm with the boys game to follow.

The girls wrestling team will compete in a quad hosted by Pella which will also feature Perry and Carlisle. This will be the third meet of the year for the Trojan girls as they started their season at a meet hosted by Sigourney and the Central Iowa Kickoff Tournament in Nevada. Tonight’s quad will start at 5:00 pm.
