Mandee Shivers of Pleasantville has announced her campaign to run for the Republican Party nomination for Iowa State Senate in District 11, currently held by Republican Julian Garrett since 2013 in what was then Senate District 13. Find more information about Shivers candidacy below.

Garrett won re-election in the district in 2022 with just under 60% of the vote. Iowa Senate District 11 features all of Warren County and a portion of Marion County that includes Knoxville.

The primary will take place on June 2nd, with the general election on November 3rd.
