The Leighton Lions Club will hold a Christmas Soup Supper at Leighton Christian Reformed Church from 5-7 pm on Saturday. As part of the supper, the Leighton Lions will be serving a variety of soups, grilled cheese sandwiches, and desserts. The cost to attend is freewill donations, and all proceeds from the soup supper will benefit Mobility Worldwide. The donations will help Mobility Worldwide purchase materials used to build special mobility carts for the people of Haiti that have lost the use of their legs and/or feet. In addition to the supper, Mobility Worldwide will be holding an open house at their workshop in Leighton, which is located at 2194 Eaton Ave.
