Services for Richard Atwell , 83, of Chariton, will be held on Friday, December 12, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at Pierschbacher Funeral Home in Chariton. A visitation will be held prior to the service starting at 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Interment will be held at the Brushy Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Brushy Community Church in Plano, Iowa.
