The Knoxville Football Program will be looking for a new coach. That is because Matt Dunkin has stepped down. Dunkin’s resignation was made official after Monday night’s Knoxville School Board Meeting. Dunkin was the head coach for four seasons and was an assistant for the Panthers before that. This season Knoxville went 1-8 with the lone win over Saydel in week five. In four seasons Dunkin compiled an 8-28 record with his best season in 2024 at 4-5. A search for Dunkin’s successor will begin immediately.
