The Pella High School robotics team delivered its strongest performance of the season, finishing with a 5–2 record in the 24-team Des Moines Metro League at their most recent competition. The Bionic Dutch opened the day with a 129-point first match and maintained a strong offensive pace, averaging 96 points per match to close the competition on a high note.

Coach Brent Ewell noted that the Bionic Dutch are recognized for their ability to consistently score field elements in the elevated goal from multiple positions on the field, including reliable scoring during the first 30-second autonomous period of each match.

With two league meets remaining, the Bionic Dutch will continue their push up the standings as they prepare for the League Tournament and the State Qualifying Meet.
