100+ Men Red Rock presented a $3,450 check to Make-A-Wish Iowa at the Vermeer Global Pavilion on Thursday.

Make-A-Wish Iowa is the Iowa Chapter of the organization and is responsible for fulfilling their mission in the state, which creates life-changing wishes for children with critical illnesses. Make-A-Wish Iowa has supported wish kids in the Red Rock area since its inception, including six wishes in the last three years. Vice-Chair of the Make-A-Wish Iowa Board Dan Huitink says the gift from 100+ Men Red Rock will go directly to supporting a current wish waiting in the area. 

“This is going toward a wish for a young girl in town who is not fully committed to her wish yet, but all indications are that her desire will be to go to Disney World next year. So depending on the timeline, depending on and when she’s ready to go, it will be a great opportunity for her and her family.”
