The Jasper County Board of Supervisors are accepting sealed bids on a lot in Country Club Acres. The county acquired the .22 acre lot through the courts, and removed junk and debris from the property. 

Sealed bids are being accepted in the Jasper County Community Development Office in suite 150 at 315 West Third Street North in Newton, until 3:00 p.m. on January 2nd, 2026. Bid forms may also be obtained at that office. The County Board of Supervisors will open the bids during their 9:30 a.m. meeting on Tuesday, January 6th in the board room at the Jasper County Courthouse in Newton. Bidders understand and agree that the County Board of Supervisors reserve the right to allow the highest bidders, not to exceed five, to participate in a public hearing during the meeting, for the purpose of eliciting higher bids from each bidder. Bidders must be present to participate. The Jasper County Board of Supervisors are also reserving the right to reject any and all bids for any reason, and to accept a bid other than the highest bid. Payment in full by the chosen bidder is expected within five business days.
