The Indianola girls basketball team is off to a 5-2 after the 2025 portion of their schedule, with a big reason for the early season success being lower turnovers than in years past. The Indians averaged over 18 turnovers per game last year, with this year being 15 per contest. Head coach Jeff Janssen said the team is continuing to get more confident with the ball, and some turnovers can be expected as their young guards get experience in addition to a faster pace of play this season they are trying to transition to.
The Indians will next play January 5th against Carlisle.
