Most, but not all, County and City Offices in Jasper County will be closed the rest of this week for the Christmas Holiday.

Jasper County Offices and Newton City Offices are closed today through Friday, December 24th-26th. The Newton Public Library is closed today through Saturday, while the Sanitary Landfill in Newton will shut its gates at 1 p.m. today, Wednesday, December 24th,N and reopen on Friday, December 26th. 

Baxter City Hall is closed now through Friday, December 26th. Noon today through Friday is the Christmas closure for the City Hall in Colfax, while noon today through Christmas Day is when Monroe’s City Hall will be closed. Prairie City’s City Hall is closed today through Christmas Day, and will reopen Friday, December 26th.
