The Indianola girls wrestling team has dealt with injuries to start the season, but has seen multiple individual successes in competitive tournaments. Sophomore Nora Ohnemus is currently ranked #1 at 100lbs and is 13-0, after entering the state tournament last year as the #5 seed. Senior Jazelle Smith is 10-1 to start the season and is ranked #5, while reigning state champion Siera Becker is ranked #2 despite injuries to start the season and is 6-1. The Indians will wrestle on January 8th at Nevada.
