The Marion County Board of Supervisors approved the hiring of legal counsel for the Junction 92 project at their meeting on Tuesday.
The board hired the services of Ahlers & Cooney P.C. to help determine next steps with the project, as it is currently a full calendar year behind. This shop project will merge three county shops into one and was first approved by the board in 2022. Since the project started, it has had numerous delays and continues to fall behind schedule. The county engineer’s office hopes hiring legal counsel will help the project progress as it is nearing completion. Stay tuned to KNIA/KRLS for further updates on Junction 92.
