Through their first eight games of the young season, the Pella Christian girls basketball team has four girls among the top five of several statistical categories in the Little Hawkeye Conference.

Junior Rachel Kacmarynski finds herself on the leaderboards of seven different stats in the league. The junior leads the conference in rebounds (11.6) and defensive rebounds (8.6) per game, while also ranking second in assists per game (4.0). Kacmarynski also ranks third in field goals made (5.4) and attempted (12.6) per game and fourth in points (13.8) and offensive rebounds (3.0) per game. Fellow junior Jessa De Vries leads the conference in three-pointers made (2.8) and attempted (6.9) per game, while also sitting third in assists per game (3.2) and fifth in charges taken per game (0.1). Senior Addie Van Arendonk is the league leader in offensive rebounds per game (4.8) and charges taken per game (0.2), while also ranking third in rebounds per game (8.8). Brynn Runner, who is the third Eagles junior featured among the Little Hawkeye Conference leaders, ranks third in blocks per game (1.2). As a team, Pella Christian leads the conference in rebounds per game (38.1) and in blocked shots per game (4.5).

At the break, the Eagles hold a 5-3 overall record. Pella Christian returns to the court on Monday, January 5th for a home non-conference game against Van Meter.
