With students set to return to classes on Monday, the winter sports teams at Pella Christian will have a busy schedule with the holidays behind them.

The Eagles bowling teams will be the first team to compete following the break, competing in a triangular against Oskaloosa and Pella on Saturday. The Pella Christian girls basketball team will then kick-off a busy week on Monday, making up a non-conference game against Van Meter that was postponed back on December 11th. The Eagles boys basketball team will then join the girls squad for a home conference doubleheader against Newton on Tuesday, before traveling to Pella for a conference doubleheader on Friday. Wrapping up a busy week returning from Christmas break, the Pella Christian bowling teams will compete for the second time on Saturday, January 10th, hosting Knoxville at Statesmen Lanes in Oskaloosa.

The Eagles bowling triangular Saturday in Oskaloosa is scheduled to start at 9 am. The girls basketball game on Monday against Van Meter can be heard live on the KRLS2 stream and viewed live on the Pella Christian YouTube channel, beginning with pregame coverage at 6:45 pm. Tuesday’s home basketball doubleheader against Newton can be heard live on 92.1 KRLS and viewed on the Pella Christian YouTube channel, beginning with pregame at 5:45 pm.
