The 2026 Marion County Fair starts on Friday.
The theme for this year’s fair is “A Fair Before Time” and it will last through July 16th. This year’s Marion County Fair will include a wide variety of entertainment, livestock shows, free kids activities, food, events, and educational opportunities. The fair will also have local 4-H exhibits on display including livestock in the different barns and static exhibits in Dyer Hudson Hall. This year’s evening entertainment lineup includes:
Friday – Gabby Barrett Concert with special guest Logan Crosby
Saturday – Weekly Sprint Car Racing
Sunday – Duckworth Rodeo
Monday – Impact Pro Wrestling
Tuesday – Demo Derby
Wednesday – Car Show
There will be free kids shows throughout all days of the fair including Absolutely Jim, Wheels of Ag, and Toby the Balloon Dude along with free activities such as inflatables, open skate, crafts, and the foam zone. Marion County Fair General Manager Jason Reed encourages everyone to come out to this year’s fair, as there is something for everyone.
“I think if you come out and see it there is plenty to do for people at a very reasonable rate and then you can see all the hard work the kids have put in at Dyer Hudson, you see some of the projects in there from quilts that take hours of hard work. There are a lot of things to see, just come out to support the kids and you can go into the livestock barns and see kids working all of the time.”
