Pella Christian High School invites alumni and the community to attend their Homecoming activities on Eagle Lane later this month.
Pella Christian’s homecoming will be held on Friday, January 23rd, and will begin with students participating in a morning of service and festivities at the high school. Chapel will then be held at noon in the Vermeer Auditorium, before activities move to the gymnasium and conclude with the presentation of the homecoming court. Head of Schools Dan Zylstra says they are excited to welcome back alumni and community members to enjoy a time of fellowship and celebration.
“Homecoming week is just such a celebration to bring back people from past generations, graduates, parents, grandparents, people who love the school and love the work that we are doing here. It really fits in with our mission. We have our lip dubs that our high school classes do and compete in. It’s just a lot of fun and we look forward to having as many people come as possible to be a part of that.”
The Eagles varsity boys and girls basketball teams will host Oskaloosa that evening, starting with the girls at 6 pm and the boys to follow at 7:30 pm on Eagle Lane. The basketball games that night can be heard live on the KRLS2 stream, and all of the homecoming events can be viewed live on the Pella Christian YouTube Channel.
