A Knoxville man has been arrested for sexual exploitation of a minor.

According to court records, on August 4th, 2025, a Marion County Sheriff Sergeant started an investigation regarding 39-year-old Jason Sparks being in possession of a photo of a nude female under the age of 18 on his cell phone. A search warrant was then executed on Sparks’s phone where he showed the sergeant the image in question which was a nude, underage female. Sparks informed law enforcement that he and the female in the photo had previously been in a relationship. An arrest warrant was issued for Sparks on December 30th.

Sparks is charged with possession of a depiction of a minor engaged in a sex act, which is an aggravated misdemeanor.
