Impact Community Action Partnership is holding a Low-Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP) open house pop-up event in Knoxville today.

The LIHEAP program can help low income individuals with their energy bills in the winter months when it costs more to heat a home. The event in Knoxville will be from 9:00 am – 3:00 pm at the Knoxville Public Library, and this is a way to meet with IMPACT to discuss options and see if someone qualifies. Those who attend should bring social security cards for all household members, household income and demographic information, and utility account information.

There will also be pop-up events at Crossroads in Pella on January 15th, Bussey City Hall on January 22nd, and Pleasantville City Hall on January 29th.
