The Norwalk girls and boys wrestling teams are both in action today, competing in a combined five duals on the road. The Warrior girls travel to Pella for a quad at 5:00 p.m., taking on the Dutch, Newton and English Valleys. The Warrior boys will be at West Des Moines Valley for a 5:30 triangular against the Tigers and Urbandale.

The Norwalk girls wrestlers are competing for the first time since placing ninth at the Boone Invitational on December 20. They enter today’s meet with a dual record of 7-6 overall and 2-1 in the Little Hawkeye Conference.

The Norwalk boys wrestlers ended their holiday break on Tuesday with an impressive showing at home, defeating Pella, Pleasantville and Centerville. They finished the meet with 13 pins, six technical falls and three major decisions, improving to 8-5 overall and 3-1 in conference duals.
