The Knoxville Public Library is holding a learn to crochet class on January 17th.

The event is part of the library’s normal Sit ‘N’ Stitch program and will take place from 12:30 pm – 2:30 pm. The crochet class is aimed toward beginners and those with no experience wanting to learn. Supplies will be provided for the first six attendees and Adult Services Librarian Cari Meissner says to bring supplies if you have them.

“If you can bring some yarn, a crochet hook, some scissors and please respond to our RSVP we will learn some basics of crochet and will begin our journey of crocheting together. We will hopefully keep that going for the next few months and actually get some practice and build on what we’re learning. It will be an awful lot of fun and I have a few volunteers lined up to help me.”

All Knoxville Public Library programming is free and open to the public.
