
The Pleasantville girls basketball team defeated Interstate 35 on the road Friday night as the boys team came up short in a West Central Conference varsity doubleheader.
The Trojan girls won their game in commanding fashion 57-29. Pleasantville was led in scoring by Harper McGraw who had 14 points and Liv Klootwyk who had 11. The Trojan girls improve to 6-4 overall and 4-3 in league play.
The Trojan boys dropped their contest to the Roadrunners 62-49. Pleasantville was led in scoring by Trindon Phipps who had 14 points and Cash Klootwyk who had 10. The Pleasantville boys fall to 5-4 on the season. The Pleasantville girls and boys basketball teams will next compete on Tuesday against Earlham.
