A non-profit organization partnering with the City of Pella on a variety of projects held a celebration to mark the completion of another milestone on Saturday. The Spirit of Pella hosted an event at the improved ice skating rink at Caldwell Park, highlighting the new ice rink chiller system installed just before Christmas. A ribbon cutting ceremony started festivities, and was followed by a hockey demonstration by the Pella Ice Sports Association, a free skate, a shot-on-goal competition, and more.
