The Knoxville Boys Basketball Squad will face its 3rd significant opponent in the last four games when the Panthers make the drive across the river for the 2nd straight Monday to the Tulip City, this time to Eagle Lane and Pella Christian. The Panthers got back on track with a drubbing of Albia on Friday and now look to score more profile points towards a potential high seed in the class 3A substate later in the year. Coach Joel Keady and his guys are looking forward to the opportunity to play one of the top teams in the Little Hawkeye Conference.
Keady: “We really have to take advantage of those chances, and play as good as we can win or lose. Pella Christian is a very good team and they’re always tough on their home floor. There’s no surprises between us, it’s just going to come down to who plays their best and will win.”
The girls will have another difficult ask against an Eagles squad that is 6-5. Live coverage is on 95.3 KNIA with the pregame starting at 5:45.
