Ownership at the new Knoxville Domino’s Pizza restaurant is a family affair.

Chantha and Stuart Bjerke own Knoxville’s newest pizza restaurant and they are no strangers to the Domino’s company. Chantha and Stuart have been with Domino’s for over 40 years and have run franchises for the last 26 years. They got their start in store ownership in Ottumwa in 1999 and before that worked for the company in stores and at the corporate level.

The Bjerke family has four adult children and three of the four also currently work for Domino’s. Chantha says their children were instrumental in the opening of the Knoxville location and they are proud of it being locally owned. The Knoxville Domino’s opened on December 27th and has 22 employees and Chantha tells KNIA/KRLS that they are excited to be a part of the Knoxville community.

“My husband and I decided it was time to take a look at Knoxville more seriously. My husband grew up in a small town and we raised our children in a small town in Ottumwa so it just made sense and the timing was just right which is why we decided to move forward with Knoxville.”
