It’s a couple weeks into the new year and Indianola City Manager Jake Meshke reflected on his time in 2025 in Indianola. Meshke tells KNIA News it was a successful year, with many terrific events.

“I made a point this year to make sure I got to all of them. I certainly want to continue going to them. That was a really great opportunity to get to know the community a bit, get to see how people interact in some of our spaces. Whether it’s Buxton Park or our downtown square and different areas like that. I am just really grateful to be able to attend those events. It’s just amazing to see the community come together.”
