An organization that builds and delivers beds to children who do not have a bed held an event at Indianola High School to build 30 beds this past weekend. Warren County’s Sleep in Heavenly Chapter President Mike Hardy says the event was a complete success with the help of the school’s staff as well.

“That event at the high school was fantastic. The shop teacher, Justin Hagans, hosted and reached out. He asked if there was anything they could do to help us. A bunch of kids from different classes came in, and they built parts for 40 beds which is amazing. They did a phenomenal job especially at this time of year.”

The next Bed Build in Warren County is scheduled for April 25th in Norwalk.
