The 7-5 Cardinal girls defeated the Lady Dees 46-36 behind sophomore Addyson Cibula’s 17 points.
Slaughter and senior Dawson Maki lead the Newton boys in scoring. Slaughter averages 13 points per game while Maki’s average is 10 points. The Panthers scoring leader is junior Lincoln Norris at 20 points per game, with senior Drake Larson adding almost 18 points a game. The Knoxville boys are 9-2. The Panther girls are 0-12. Their scoring leader is Merissa Borwig at 4 points per game. The Cardinals’ leading scorer is Cibula with a 10 points per game average.
