
Pella Christian High School has announced that Homecoming festivities on Eagle Lane have been moved up to tomorrow, due to the extreme cold temperatures forecasted on Friday.
Alumni and the community are still invited to attend the activities that will take place during the day on Thursday. Festivities will begin with chapel at Noon in the Vermeer Auditorium, followed by competitions in the gymnasium, before concluding with the presentation of the homecoming court.
This year’s homecoming queen candidates include Bailey Vos, Kate Braafhart, Lexi Terpstra, Sydney Bruxvoort, and Addie Van Arendonk, while candidates to be king are Liam Zula, Toby Belzer, Ben Van Wyngarden, Paxton Bouma, and Devan Runner.
The Eagles varsity boys and girls basketball teams will host Oskaloosa tomorrow, starting with the girls game at 6 pm. All of the homecoming events Thursday can be viewed live on the Pella Christian YouTube Channel, and the basketball games will be broadcast on 92.1 KRLS.
