The Pleasantville girls and boys basketball teams fell to Van Meter at home Tuesday night in a West Central Conference varsity doubleheader.

It was a tough night for both teams as the girls fell 71-43 and the boys dropped their contest 74-36. The Trojan girls were led in scoring by Taylor Perkins who had 13 points and Harper McGraw who had 12. The Trojan girls fall to 6-7 on the year as the boys drop to 7-5. The Pleasantville basketball teams will next compete on Friday against Des Moines Christian.
