It is a busy day of sports for Knoxville as Bowling, and wrestling will have meets today. The bowlers will head to Centerville for a South Central Conference Meet. The Panthers recently won their first meet of the season over Pella Christian a couple of weeks ago. Both wrestling squads are in meets. The girls will celebrate senior night by hosting Martensdale-St. Mary’s in their first girls only home meet in program history. Coach Doug Hatch tells KNIA/KRLS Sports it is a good time to celebrate his four seniors Serenity Turner, Cally Landis Alyssa McCreery, and Andie Branson. Hatch hopes fans will come out for tonight’s meet.

Hatch: “This will be our first home dual ever. Martesndale is coming in a little beat up, but it’ll be good to get the girls out there, we’re sharing with the junior high girls so it’ll be a chance to make some history.”

While the girls are at home, the boys head on the road to BGM. The Panthers are coming off splitting their duals at Collins/Maxwell on Tuesday and will take on Joshua Christian Academy North Mahaska and the host Bears with bouts to get underway at 6:00.
