It was senior night for the third-ranked Indianola boys wrestling team and celebrated by defeating Norwalk 63-16 in a home dual Thursday night.

The Indians earned wins by fall from Chandler Brown at 106lbs, Cain Crossan at 113lbs, Grady Nelson at 138 lbs, Stoney Wood at 144lbs, Rylan Hilton at 157lbs, and Zach O’Meara 285lbs. Indianola also picked up wins from Sawyer Nelson at 113lbs and Eli Cox at 175lbs by technical fall. Finally, Indianola gained wins from Elijah Blewitt at 150lbs by injury and Brady Christensen at 215lbs by forfeit for the victory.  The Indians head to the Winnetonka Tournament in Kansas City, Missouri today with action beginning at 9:30 A.M.

Norwalk picked up wins from Blake Stanford at 132lbs and Victor Esparza at 190lbs by fall. Asaiah Martinez-Ruiz at 126lbs won by major decision 15-4. The Warriors return to the mat at the Ed Winger Invitational in Urbandale tomorrow with action beginning at 9 A.M.
