Kids and Adults from Pella Brazilian Jiu Jitsu recently participated in one of the largest competitions in the Midwest. Competing at the Kansas City Jiu Jitsu Expo with over 1500 athletes in attendance, Team Pella took 21st place out of over 100 gyms that were at the event. Pella Brazilian Jiu Jitsu had 12 participants in the competition, five kids under the age of 16 and seven adults from ages 26 to 58 taking part in 25 matches. As a group, Team Pella earned three gold medals, while also securing four silver medals and seven bronze medals.
