
The PCM boys and girls wrestling teams both finished fourth at the Heart of Iowa Conference meet hosted by Saydel on Monday.
This was a meet that was originally scheduled for Friday but was moved to Monday due to the extreme cold temperatures. The Mustang boys placed fourth out of eight total teams with 152.5 team points. The Mustangs had several high place finishers as Tucker Wheeler placed first at 165 pounds, Kaliber Fry took first at 132 pounds, and Mason Hjortshoj placed first at 157 pounds. Other high place finishers were Gracen Lust placing second at 138 pounds and Easton Morris placing third at 150. Complete boys results can be found here.
The Mustang boys will next compete on Thursday at Albia.
The Mustang girls placed fourth out of five total teams with 92 team points. Top finishers for the PCM girls were Allie Minteer placing first at 110 pounds, Emma Beyers placing first at 170, and Hadley Millang placing second at 130. The Mustangs had several third place finishers in their respective weight classes including Ryan DeVore, Addison Fry, Macie Kain, and Addison Pitman. Complete results can be found here.
The PCM girls wrestling team will be back in action on Friday for their Class 1A State Qualifying meet at Williamsburg.
