
The Pella’s girls bowling team finished third overall in the Two Rivers Conference tournament on Monday. The team shot 2235 in the 15-game Baker set to finish behind the conference champion Newton Cardinals and Oskaloosa.
“Our girls really stepped up in Bakers today, and I thought we might give Oskaloosa a run for their money in the end,” said Head Coach Bryan Smith. “Overall we had a fantastic day, and these young women have had a great season.”
McKenna Salvador wrapped up her Two Rivers Conference career with an eighth-place finish, shooting 460. Peyton Donielson finished 16th overall with a 422 series. Maddie Holland finished 18th with a 417, and Aurora Rankin was right behind her with a 413 series.
The varsity team heads to Clinton on Monday to bowl in the Class 2A State Qualifier.
