The Melcher-Dallas Fire Department responded to a house fire early Wednesday morning.

At 1:56 am, the Melcher-Dallas Fire Department were dispatched to a fully engulfed house fire. A social media post by the department states “Despite the hard work and quick response of all crews, the house was a total loss. ” The MDFD was assisted by Pleasantville Emergency Services, the Lacona Fire Department, and the Marion County Sheriff’s Office.
