The Pella Opera House is hosting the return of the Missoula Children’s Theatre next week for the production of The Jungle Book.
Auditions for children in kindergarten through eighth grade will be held on Monday at 3:45 pm, and some of the cast members selected will be asked to stay for a rehearsal immediately following the auditions. There will be two performances of The Jungle Book at the Pella Opera House, the first on Friday, February 6th at 7 pm and the second on Saturday, February 7th at 10:30 am. Pella Opera House Executive Director Cyndi Atkins says they are grateful to be able to offer the community programs like Missoula Children’s Theatre.
“This is a highlight for so many children, and we are so thankful for Vermeer Corporation, who sponsors our Youth Entertainment Series. That sponsorship allows us to provide opportunities like this to children, to get on stage and act or to see something on stage, and it’s wonderful for the kids to be able to see this.”
Through a sponsorship with Vermeer Corporation, tickets are discounted to $20 or $15 for adults and $12 or $8 for students up to 18 years old. Find a link to purchase tickets to the Missoula Children’s Theatre production of The Jungle Book here.
