The Pleasantville boys and girls varsity basketball teams and the boys wrestling team will be in action against Lynnville-Sully tonight.

The Trojan basketball teams will take on the Hawks at home in a non-conference varsity doubleheader. The matchups will be a tall task for both Trojan teams as the Lynnville-Sully boys and girls are both undefeated on the season as the #5 ranked girls sit at 16-0 overall and the boys team holds a 15-0 record. 

Both Trojan teams are coming off losses to Des Moines Christian on Friday. The Pleasantville girls are 6-8 overall and will look to snap a four game skid against the Hawks. The Trojan girls are led in scoring by freshman Liv Klootwyk who is averaging 10.6 points per game. The Pleasantville boys are 7-6 overall and are led in scoring by junior Braylon Bingham who is averaging 20.2 Tonight’s doubleheader in Pleasantville starts at 6:15 pm.

The Trojan boys wrestling team will be on the road at Lynnville-Sully in a quad that will also feature East Union and Panorama. The Pleasantville boys are coming off a seventh place finish at Belle Plaine on Saturday. Tonight’s quad will start at 5:30 pm.
