The Knoxville Basketball Squads will host Eddyville-Blakesburg tonight. The Panther girls are looking for more progress as they played defense better on Tuesday against Centerville. The boys have a chance to clinch no worse than a share of the South Central Conference title with a win. Coach Joel Keady tells KNIA/KRLS Sports the Rockets are an improving team and knocked off Chariton on Tuesday.

Keady: “Eddyville is always going to present a challenge for us, and they’ve been close with us the last few times we’ve played, and they beat us badly about six times before that. They always have great athletes and they’re improving so we need to be ready for what they bring.”

The Panthers look to remain unbeaten in the conference and extend their winning streak to 31 games with a win tonight. Live coverage on 95.3 KNIA begins at 6:00.
