The Knoxville Recreation Center pool will re-open today after being closed for two days due to a fecal incident.

The pool was closed Wednesday and Thursday and will operate under normal hours again starting today. Knoxville Parks and Recreation posted on Facebook, “This is a good reminder to stay home if you have diarrhea and please have all children that are not potty-trained wear a swim diaper”. Knoxville Parks and Recreation Director Brandon Nemmers tells KNIA/KRLS to refer to CDC guidelines for healthy swimming and preventing diarrheal illness.
