Knoxville Hospital and Clinics is now accepting nominations for their annual DAISY award.

This is an opportunity to say thank you to a nurse at Knoxville Hospital and Clinics who has made a meaningful difference in your care or the care of a family member. The DAISY (Diseases Attacking the Immune System) Award is an international recognition program that honors and celebrates nurses on a local level.

The DAISY Foundation was established by the family of J. Patrick Barnes, after he died from complications of the autoimmune disease ITP in 1999. More than 2,500 healthcare facilities in 15 countries and 50 states now honor nurses with The DAISY Award. To nominate a nurse for the 2026 DAISY award at Knoxville Hospital and Clinics follow this link. The award recipient will be announced in May.
