stem-kits

The Newton Public Library has acquired several new STEM Kits that are available for three-week check-out. Youth Services Librarian Phyllis Peter says the kits provide hands-on learning in science, math, coding, and creative play. She adds there are kits for all ages that encourage interactive learning, creativity, and skill-building.

The five kits include one with an interactive talking microscope and two books on biology and microbes. Another kit includes a book about dragons and has a castle building set. There’s also one with a book about learning to tell time, with a practice clock and activity cards.
