The Indianola Girls Wrestling team is sending two wrestlers to Coralville next week for the State Girls Wrestling Tournament. Both Norah Onemus and Siera Becker won their respective weight classes to punch their ticket. Between the two lower class wrestlers, they are a combined 60-1 on the season. Ohnemus will compete with a perfect 36-0 record in the 100lbs weight class, while Siera Becker is the defending state champion and enters the state meet at 24-1 and competing at 105lbs. In total, Indianola placed seventh at the South Tama State Qualifying tournament and put up 57.5 points as a team.

The Girls State Wrestling meet is scheduled for February 5-6 at Xtream Arena in Coralville.
