Pleasantville’s Addie Koenig and PCM’s Allie Minteer punched their ticket to the State Wrestling Tournament at the Class 1A State Qualifying Meet hosted by Williamsburg on Friday.

Koenig placed second in the 145 pound bracket and Minteer placed second in the 110 pound bracket to earn their respective trips to state. Pleasantville finished ninth as a team at the meet with 83 team points and PCM finished 13th with 49 team points. Pleasantville’s Amelia Latch and Hayden Edwards fell just short of a trip to state finishing third in their respective brackets. The 2026 State Girls Wrestling Tournament will be February 6th and 7th at Xtreme Arena in Coralville.
