Sinikka Waugh has officially announced that she will run for Iowa Senate District 11, which encompasses all of Warren County and parts of Marion County, including Knoxville. 

Sinikka runs a training and coaching business in Warren County, working with individuals and organizations to drive better outcomes, improve human interactions, and successfully navigate change. She grew the business from a one-person operation into a team of dedicate professionals serving hundreds of employers across Iowa and the United States. Sinikka is focused on helping Iowa’s communities continue to grow and stay strong.

Sinikka’s husband of almost 28 years, Spencer Waugh, is running for State Representative in Iowa House District 21. Spencer currently serves as an Associate Dean at Simpson College, working with students still exploring potential majors as well as heading up the graduate and online programs.

A kick-off event will be held on Tuesday, February 10th from 6:00 – 8:00pm at St. James Celebrations, located at 774 G24 Hwy outside of Indianola. The event is open to the public.
