Indianola Mayor Steve Richardson has proclaimed February 2nd in Indianola as Chris Street Day, honoring the late icon in the Indianola community. He made the announcement at Monday’s Indianola City Council meeting. Other agenda items included approving the liquor license renewal for Indianola Country Club, doing business as Indianola Golf Club, the purchase of Weight and Fitness Equipment for the Indianola Wellness Campus and hearing first resolutions from the public regarding zoning ordinances.
