The Norwalk and Indianola robotics teams competed at the League Championships on Saturday. The tournament was held at Lakewood Elementary in Norwalk.

The Norwalk Robo Warriors placed third overall in the tournament and also received the Inspire Award. They were selected in the first slot to advance to the state competition. The Indianola Octobots also earned a spot at the state championships. 

The Iowa First Tech Challenge Championship will be held Friday and Saturday, February 27th and 28th, at Xtream Arena and GreenState Family Fieldhouse in Coralville, with arrival scheduled for 12 p.m. on Friday. A total of 72 teams will be competing.
